Q: I finished installing the program according to the instructions, but there are no photos in the camera after download. How do I make it work?
A: Please make sure that you've taken photos by checking the number on the camera LCD. Please also check if the USB cable is loose. If it still doesn't work, please follow these steps:
If your OS is WIN XP or WIN 2000
a.. Find [My Computer] on the Desktop, Press the right mouse button and select [Properties]
b.. Select [Hardware], click [Device Manager]
c.. Find [Imaging devices], Select your imaging device
d.. Press the right mouse button and select [Scan for hardware changes]
If your OS is WIN 98SE or WIN ME
a.. Find [My Computer] on the Desktop, Press the right mouse button and select [Properties]
b.. Select [Device Manager], Find [Imaging devices], Select your imaging device
c.. Press the right mouse button and select [Refresh]
Q: The camera doesn't work after connection. There's a yellow "!" before Device Manager/Imaging devices/Dual-Mode DSC (2770). What should I do?
A: This is due to a device collision. Please follow these steps:
a.. Select Dual-Mode DSC (2770) in [Device Manager]
b.. Press the right mouse button and select [Uninstall] (If OS is WIN98SE or WIN ME, Press the right mouse button and select [Remove])
c.. Remove USB
d.. Restart Computer
e.. Reinsert USB
Q: After I finish installing the software and connecting the camera to the computer, "Unknown USB device" appears in the device manager. How do I fix this?
A: Connect the camera to your computer and run dear registry, then remove the camera and reinstall the driver.
Q:
Can the camera be connected to the computer when I install the driver?
A: No, the camera shouldn't be connected to the computer when you install the driver.
Q:
My camera doesn't respond when I press the Mode key or the shutter. What's wrong?
A: Please remove the battery, then put it back in.
Q:
Photos downloaded have color spots, stripes, layers and/or segments. What's wrong?
A: This may be a dead battery. Please cut off all power, including USB and batteries, and start again with fresh batteries after ten seconds.
Q:
I can't download photos, or have problems downloading photos. How do I make this work?
A: Please open Dr., and redownload. Dr. will save this problem. Please send this file back to your supplier or customer service team.
